Project Overview
This project builds a servo alignment system using Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control to automatically track and stabilize laser beams. Precision alignment is essential for free-space optical links and other optical-electrical systems.
The goal is to design a reliable, closed-loop alignment system that demonstrates real-time correction of beam drift, strengthening expertise in control systems and signal processing.
Key Features
Precision Alignment
Real-time correction of beam drift.
Closed-Loop PID Control
Improves stability and accuracy.
Embedded Integration
Arduino-based control and feedback system.
Optics & Defense Use
Enables stable laser links in dynamic conditions.
